    Training tips

A good recommendation. I fly both a DJI Phantom 4 and a Yuneec Typhoon H and find both easy to maneuver. But the Estes mini-drone (cheap on Amazon & other sites) requires constant flying on both sticks! As a drone instructor emphasizing video production, my students do not receive their drone...

    My First Negative Interaction

I suppose if you really feel up to it, drive by the guy's home and post his address on your social media pages with your original text from this posting. Otherwise, just shrug it off. Happy flying.

    Fully charged batteries

Good advice. I learned the hard way not to keep batteries charged. Had a few get damaged (pillowed) because I was leaving them fully charged. I only charge 'em just before they are needed. And as a reminder, do not leave charging batteries unattended. Good luck.

    In over my head?

Hope it works out for you. I fly both Phantom 4 and Typhoon H. Yep, there are differences but I find them to be generally the same... one is not more sporty, or more challenging, than the other. If you want sporty, suggest a racing drone; maybe even one you build yourself. Best of luck and...

When is it to cold to fly

If you must, or want to, fly in cold temps, consider keeping your fully charged batteries in a Coleman or Yeti type cooler to keep them warm until needed. Have heard of pilots also using bean bags they have warmed in a microwave to keep batteries warm in extreme cold weather. I have...

Auto Take-off, Orbit Mode and Complete loss of Control. Horrible crash.

Sounds like Yuneec is making good on replacing the Typhoon H. If that's the case, I wouldn't complain too much, but that's just me. I've had mine since late 2017 and it has been trouble-free. Knock on wood. Hope things work out for you and practice, practice, practice. Cheers.
