Fat shark channels and ST 16.

Yep. I build and fly the 'mini' quads (got one on my bench right now) and things are certainly getting smaller - now I really have to rely on my glasses!! I was always planning on running the FPV camera on top of the H, or maybe just under the OA sensors. Either way, I think you are correct in...

Fat shark channels and ST 16.

Interesting idea Craig. Keen to see how this ends up. Similar to you, I have a few of the H480's and have recently been thinking of doing some 'modifications' to one of them as they are way past warranty, but still a very capable camera UAV.

    ST 16 Transmitter Tray

I purchased one of the trays from Ty a while back and have been using it ever since. It fits the ST16 very well and still allows me to access everything. A heck of a lot better than using the 'standard' attachment points. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Ty for coming up with the idea and...

UAV Toolbox - The Next Generation

Money well spent in my humble opinion @Tuna I've been using the app since it was first 'conceived' and gladly paid the cash when it was developed further.

Battery life and why you crash...

Voltage alarms aren't really necessary in this situation. Best to use the display on the ST-16 and watch your battery levels that way. The other thing worth looking into is a battery monitor like this one. I have a few of these and rate them very highly. I use them to check the total voltage...

Battery life and why you crash...

Correct in the fact that the ST-16 gives a total battery voltage. The battery is a 4s, which means that there are 4 cells in the battery. To my knowledge, all cell voltage alarms do not monitor each cell, but they sound out an alarm when the cell voltage gets down to around 3.7v (depending on...

Battery life and why you crash...

Seems kind of pointless to me. Not sure why you would want to do that, when you have the battery voltage displayed on your radio.

ITELITE vs 4 Hawks Raptor range extender

Regardless of what antenna system you use, we all need to be aware of the legal limits that we should all be flying within. For me, an aftermarket antenna is not about increasing the actual distance that I can fly out to, but much more about making sure that the signal strength that I have...

These are also available in stainless steel. Surely they can't be printed if made from SS??

    typhoon h thrust specs ?

It's been killing me that I can't get a set of these props on my H. If you are able to make an adapter that will take these, then I'm in for sure. Here's a link to the props I am talking about. All the details for sizing, etc are in the link.

    typhoon h thrust specs ?

Ralphy - did you end up making a 'universal' type prop adapter? The only ones I have seen, so far, will only take a DJI style prop. I have some new Master Airscrew MR props that I would love to try on my H, but they are made for a straight M6 motor shaft.

    480 battery question

Spot on Steve and Jules. To clarify, the maximum voltage of a fully charged pack is per cell is 4.2. This is regardless of the mAh rating. The mAh rating is what your charge 'rate' is determined by. To charge safely, it is advised to charge at 1C, therefore a 6400mAh battery should be charged...
