IRL sensing does require "X" amount of light, and some sort of "texture" on the surface to work effectively. Do not believe they would be effective if all they were looking at was a smooth surface of just one color.

Just drop them into a bucket filled with salt water....about 1 cup of salt in a gallon of water. Let set for a few days.and then throw in trash (they are NOT toxic to the environment)

Sorry about your difficulties....it seems that Yuneec still has hardware/software problems. Even though mine seems to work, I'll likely sell it when the price of DJI's latest offering comes down a bit in price....hopefully!

When you power up your Breeze it should notify you what firmware is installed and either tell you to update it or ask you to search for update on the screen. As I indicated, it depends on where you are located and weather you are using Android or IOS phone

Depends upon what country you are in......

It may have something to do with the compass. Are you indoors or outside? I'd try to perform another compass calibration outside (away from anything metallic).

Assuming that you are NOT in the USA, it will come up in your phone app after you bind your Breeze to the app....

Where are you located? I'm in USA, using Android and it says I have the latest. It appears that it is not for Android devices in the USA :confused:
