    Video files "Media_Data"

Looks like a rhetorical question to me. If I am working on something that cannot be repeated on a different day, I am actually glad that I can view the video on the st-16 to see if the shots were done correctly. Sorry but I won't bring a 4k tv or even a 4k laptop just for the sake to see every...

    Auto land and transmitter failure

Also the thing that the H is "waiting" instead of landing immediately is extremely good in situations like starting off of a boat (even though it is not the safest idea). Because in an event of a lost connection between the ST16 and the H, instead of landing in the water it gives us a chance to...

    DNG as Default Format

If the CGO4 was compatible with the H, I don't think the bird could lift it :P

    Possible GPS issue?

Switching GPS off is not desinged for hovering, as even a small gust of wind will push the bird with the wind's direction. Typhoon H should be flying butterly smooth with the GPS disabled, at least mine is. No offense but either you're a bad pilot or you should check if your ST-16 controls are...

    Camera lens filters

Unfortunately a screen-grab from a 4k video will never beat a photo shot in a photo mode. As mmidyette said the differences in resolution are quite big, a screen-grab from a 4k video is roughly ~8mpix file which resoults in lower sharpness (also because of the motion blur you have in video...

    Updates

Glad it helped, oh and don't worry, it happened to me too when I was beginning my journey with my Typhoon H :)

    Updates

Make sure you are in photo mode, otherwise you won't be able to access photo settings. Also pick CGO-3 Pro in "Select camera" tab in settings and finally in "other settings" you should check the "advanced mode". Let us know if this helps.

    Water-treated Typhoon H

Very impressive. I am wondering if they made it water-proof or maybe our Typhoon H is water-proof by default and we don't know it? :P

    Dampener disruption!

When I bought another H, I had the same situation with my gimbal. I am glad I inspected it thoroughly right after it shipped before I actually flied it. This issue seems to be present more often lately, I wonder if the birds are not as strictly inspected nowadays as they were a year ago or is it...

    New CGO3+ Gimbal firmware.

I believe there are at least two reasons: firstly it is because the update is live on Yuneec's website and secondly Yuneec always highlights that we should be using the latest firmware that is available. About knowing what the update does, we will only know for sure what it does, after we test...

ST16+ Distance on screen is wrong

Important note - always turn the ST16 first, then the H. About the proximity, I have also learned that while standing close to the bird the distances it shows may be a little bit off, although 60ft instead of 10ft seems like a little too big difference. Try moving a little bit further away from...

    Differences between Typhoon H, H Plus (H2), Typhoon 920, and H520.

Huge thanks for sharing this info with us Bob. I believe the whole fuss and complains are present here and there because of Yuneec's lack of "stable info". What I mean is that, for example, one of their emplyees says to us on the telephone that E90 will be compatible with the H480, and the...

What will Yuneec announce at CES?

Okay so apparentaly "the big announcement" is going to happen tomorrow - 9.01.18 at Yuneec's booth. I wonder what might that be. I really hope it is going to be some competition for Inspire 2 - perhaps a new Tornado?

What will Yuneec announce at CES?

I am pretty sure they are on CES, I have checked some time ago that they had a pretty big booth, almost as big as DJI's. EDIT: I have found the link to the floor plan, search for yuneec here: CES 2018 Floor Plan
