I'm in the same boat. From my understanding, they have a limited range. You can still see from the monitor but it's not really FPV. Lightbridge is proprietary to DJI which has more bandwidth. The new controller seems to be better equipped for using because of the location of the screen.

I'll see if I can find out but it's 720p streaming with a 1 mile stated range.

I'm just curious how much the avoidance module will cost.

Retractable landing gear, 7' Android screen, nice looking controller, I'm drooling... Edit: Looks like accident avoidance will be an extra, that will be hard to justify that price point then.

DJI dropped the price of the P3S to $599 and the P3A to $799. That's pretty dang good, along with a new 4k version at $1k (sans lightbridge). I'm waiting for the official unveil tomorrow or the Typhoon H but one reason why I was thinking Yuneec was because of value but this changes things.

I can confirm that it will be called the Typhoon H and will be announced tomorrow.

I've read that some mod done by carolina dronez on behalf of some builder extends the range pretty well.
