    Stuck Gimbal

This raises a question: What is the proper way to remove the bottom cover to avoid breaking the tabs?

    Stuck Gimbal

@DoomMeister Thank you for your advice. I finally got around to opening up my Breeze and lubricated the gimbal gear. It seems to be working fine now. However, when I put the cover back on, the gimbal side did not snap into place like the battery side did. The gimbal side is clearly loose and I...

No Fly Zone Based on GPS Signal of Phone

@airborne That makes sense. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to spoof a GPS location on my iPhone.

Still Have Trouble with Precision Landings

I thought about that, but I thought a laser might be a problem.

Still Have Trouble with Precision Landings

I do not want to change the app. I am looking for a hardware add-on - a focused LED light to be affixed to the bottom of the drone to aid in aligning my manual (not RTH) landing with the landing pad.

No Fly Zone Based on GPS Signal of Phone

@DoomMeister - How can you be sure that the phone GPS position is NOT being used for takeoff point position? Do you know of some Yuneec documentation that indicates which GPS coordinates are used at takeoff? Why would the NFZ warning be displayed? I surely want to believe you, however, I really...

    Stuck Gimbal

For the first time since using my Breeze, I encountered a stuck gimbal. While using the phone only as the controller, I could not pan the camera down. I landed the Breeze, and then physically moved it. I then was able to move it with the Breeze Cam app. I sent the Breeze back up and it worked...

Still Have Trouble with Precision Landings

I have had my Breeze for about 18 months now, and I still have trouble landing it on a landing pad. I have determined that I have a depth perception problem with my eyes. If I stand very close to the landing pad, I can land the Breeze on the pad easily. As soon as I move back to about 12', I am...

Very Limited Altitude and Speed When GPS is turned off.

I agree that it is easier to maneuver the Breeze using the controller, however, certain functions (ie. Journey, Orbit, ...) don't work with the controller. I find that the Orbit function produces much smoother panoramas, for example. And I occasionally utilize the Smart Follow me mode.

No Fly Zone Based on GPS Signal of Phone

Last time out flying my Breeze, I ran into an issue. After startup and choosing a Task, I was presented with the Height warning due to being in a No Fly Zone. I have flown my Breeze at this location many times and have never encountered this warning. The reason I chose this location initially...

Very Limited Altitude and Speed When GPS is turned off.

The phone still controls the drone when you use the controller. The controller only provides inputs to the app (which is on your phone) which then forwards them to the Breeze. The controller does not add connectivity to the Breeze. In fact, it adds a layer of complexity (ie. Bluetooth) to the...

What type of MOBILE DEVICE do you use with your Breeze 4K

iPhone 6. All functions work as designed as does the Bluetooth controller. While the phone works when it is in my Otterbox Defender case, I have gotten in the habit of removing the case because it fits better in the controller.

    Why Breeze

Having been in Naples just last week, you may be able to see the Gulf waters from your home, but you will be very disappointed in the detail from that distance. The video quality will be fine, but you will be hard pressed to make out landmarks. I went to the beach at Naples with my Breeze and...

    New drone owner

FYI...The phone is still controlling the Breeze. The controller is easier because of the joysticks, however, the Breeze Cam app on the phone is what controls the drone. The controller connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and your phone connects to the Breeze by wifi.

Does your flight start at 100% battery status?

I have had my Breeze since April 2017. Throughout the spring and summer, I consistently got 10 - 12 minutes of flight time out of each of my 3 batteries. However, when I took the Breeze out in late November, the temperature was in the 20s with a wind chill of in the low teens. For that flight, I...
