Had to do that to the ST16 with mine as well. But since they have been flawless. If they can be twisted they can be intermittent. Just remove the lockwasher and be careful not to push the threaded part back into the case and its easy to remedy.

Jpeg raw is a raw (dng) digital negative that is compressed but not as much as a jpeg. DNG has no compression so if you are going to do any grading post shoot that is the one to use. To me a compressed dng isn't much better than a regular jpeg. But every time you compress you loose information...

Yea its an H. I had to replace it because the little rail broke. Camera was hanging a little crooked so I checked it out. Flew twice today before the sky looked a little too dark. Not a bit of trouble it flew great all day.

Yea that could be it drawing a little too much current and making the radio weak. Does the gear move freely? If it sticks it will cause it to draw more current.

It makes a map so yea its gonna know what its passed over. Read up on slam-gmapping that is how depth cams do their thing. Basically works by laying down a checkerboard over the terrain and each box is marked clear or occupied as the map is made.
