I flew with my third and final battery later today, running until voltage dropped to 14.6v. Performed fine. I noticed that the batteries are a tight fit to insert into the drone. I'm now wondering if these are puffed somewhat... One of the reasons for wanting to get my TH up into the air...

I've figured that out after spending half of today doing firmware updates! ;) Besides the micro SD card in my camera, I have two others and just could not get the ST16 to update with either of those even after formatting them and downloaded b30 with different browsers, etc. Yuneec support...

Yuneec support told me I needed to install firmware versions b23 and b27 before I could update to b30 so they emailed me links to those two versions.

I never had any issues with my drone so I never bothered to update anything until trying now. I did think about doing it several times but do tend to procrastinate. Actually, my first drone crashed and I think it was because of me that it was determined to not take off with object avoidance...

Thanks for all the help. I'm not ready to give up yet, but am having trouble even doing the controller update. I might reboot my PC to see if that helps somehow, but the controller update file I get downloaded using Chrome is not a bin file and the controller doesn't find the update software...

I have a lot of red tail hawks around my farm and they come towards it some of the time but I then chase after them and they take off. The best defense is a good offense, it seems.

I've already talked about Pelican cases. I have one already for camera gear storage so am quite familiar with them. The 1510 is too small to fit the YTH and the 1610 is too big to be used for carry-on baggage.
