    Quick Warranty Question

Thanks River, I think I'll do that. And I agree, I know some have had some CS issues, but luckily, I haven't been one of them. :)

    Quick Warranty Question

So, I realize that the standard warranty is limited to 6 months. But what about repairs completed during the warranty period. Case in point: I had to send my G in due to motor play. I must have got a bad batch, because they replaced all four motors. Now, after about 15 flights, I'm...

    Battery went bye bye

Update for those that read the previous. New battery is on the way, and should be here Friday. WooHoo!

    Battery went bye bye

So, took the quad out over the weekend, and was only able to get about 8 minutes of flight of my fully charged battery. I thought that maybe I had flown on it before I left town for a few minutes, and figured that was the problem. I was out of town, and sadly forgot to bring my good charger...

****, sorry to hear that buddy.... Again, good luck!

    still have TBE....feed up!

I don't own an H, but I have a question. What does the telemetry file say after you experience your TBE? Are there compass errors? Or weird deviations in the GPS data? I ask, because my son picked up a Typhoon G a while ago, and right out of the box, we went over it with a fine tooth comb...

    Unstable in 15 mph winds

Oh, I've read that before, and while I'll never tell someone to go against the operators manual, personally, I don't ever really look at windspeed numbers before I fly. I've been flying long enough to know when too much is too much. That being said, I always thought it interesting why they put...

    Unstable in 15 mph winds

Hey notrude, how much of that was 'stick driven', and how much was the system just holding position? The changes in elevation seem to be stick driven, not sure about the rest. Also, when I shot the video that I linked to above, she was bouncing around similar to that. :/

    Unstable in 15 mph winds

Thanks Agustine! This quad is pretty amazing. I was involved in a UAV start up years ago. It didn't go very well, due to mismanagement, but I am in AWE at what these things are capable of nowadays. Incredible, really.

    Unstable in 15 mph winds

I should also mention that on the flight by the bay, when the winds were strongest, I did lose momentary loss of control in the yaw axis. She did a little spin on me. About 90° or so. I kind of expected it, but it's still damned unnerving. lol

    Unstable in 15 mph winds

Personally, I've flown in some pretty strong winds. And while the quad gets bounced around a bit, the video is always rock solid. In fact, I went down to visit my dad a few months ago. He lives near Corpus Christi, Texas, and owns a P3S. Decided to put them up together. Wind was blowing at...

    Yuneec Customer Service Report

Sadly, I still haven't been able to fly her. Sigh... Personally though, I felt they did me right. So long as a motor doesn't crap itself on me...

    Yuneec Customer Service Report

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. I haven't had a chance to put her back in the air or troubleshoot in any way. I'll post results as soon as I do!

    Yuneec Customer Service Report

Update: Got my G back yesterday. Everything looked good. Performed a thorough preflight, and all looked good. Performed a compass calculation, and put her up. I've got a slight 'squeal' coming from one of the motors, but she flew great. As stable as always, with no surprises. I'll be...

    Yuneec Customer Service Report

Just wanted to put this out there. During a preflight of my G, I noticed that I was getting a bit of radial play on 3 of my motors, and some axial on 1 as well. Decided to inspect the motor mounts, and as feared, they were all popped. Reached out to CS as the quad only had a dozen or so...
