With version 3 software and the radio redundancy, if the RC is not bound you can still control flight, but you cannot get into the calibrate mode or turn on/off LEDs. Make sure in the info screen both radio and camera are bound.

I should have been clearer. I received it new Thursday a week ago (Sept 8). I have about 8 flights in with no mishaps, but nearly all of them have at least one error 32.
