    So long, Farewell.....

I was sooo tempted by the EVO, but as it's not officially sold or supported in the UK I decided against it. The thought of having a hardware issue and shipping back and forth across the pond put me off.

    So long, Farewell.....

Only 3 flights, due to awful weather here in the UK, but it flies really well and is quick to get into the air. I found a brand new battery on Amazon for £59 (normal RRP is £89) which will be here later in the week. Sadly looking at the weather forecast for this week there is rain, rain, rain...

New to Yunecc Typhoon H Pro

Steve, looking at the price of smart batteries from others (parrot Anafi £89) Typhoon batteries are expensive by comparison (£92.99 Yuneec shop), for US comparison ($99.99 Yuneec US shop) and (Autel Evo $85.00 from their own shop). So as far as batteries go, Yuneec are stiffing us. Flashoser, I...

    Useful Flight Duration

I'm guessing the RealSense module might suck some battery time as well. I'm still a bit miffed that Yuneec didn't employ "smart" batteries that discharge if not used for a day or so (waits for PatR to groan) given that there is little price difference, except DJI because they over price...

    Battery ejected moment before landing

late to the party/funeral but.... check the rubber seal inside the tray where the contacts are, sometimes the top part of the rubber seal drop due to poor gluing, this leads to it getting pinched between the battery and the bulkhead which could pop the battery loose. I think if you google there...

    High-wind quick battery drain

Hi PatR Thanks for the reply, the battery was charged fully Saturday evening, it started at 16.6v and was sat idling (not the motors) for some 14min. I appreciate the workings of Lipo but failed to buy a decent charger for my Typhoon as I was in two minds as to keeping it or selling it, I can...

    High-wind quick battery drain

Hi all. Flew my H today for the first time in a little while and had a bit of a fright. I had switched on the H and let it sit Idle for appx 14min, took it out for a quick shoot of some building work some 390m away. Within 3.5min of lifting off I got a battery warning fly below 60 etc. I hit...

Typhoon H w/ Real Sense Dramatic Price Drop is a Kick in the Head.

Not being rude but I have no idea why you are so upset with Yuneec. As others have pointed out and as you must have experienced with numerous other things - their relative value falls with time, sometimes very sharply. If you can't swallow that fact do not adopt new technology, wait for the...
