Only two reasons possibly why it can fall from the sky... 1.Battery was not fully pushed in the compartment and slid out during flight further causing a full power disconnect. I don’t like the battery compartment door too weak in retaining the battery so I used a screw to secure it more firmly...

Only two things could possibly cause it just to fall from the sky... 1. Battery was not secured properly and slid out and disconnected in flight. I don't like the way the battery door just clicks shut should have screw as per my photo. 2. Pressing the red start button accidentally while in flight.
