Did anyone ask themselves exactly how would one attempt to start the motors @ 8000' above takeoff elevation? I know I did. If we're going to respond to questions with reasoned answers....it would help to think logically about the circumstances in question before replying. Thanks to everyone...

As I said in my previous post....I live and fly @ 8500+ with no problems other than shorter flight times. Colder temperatures will also cut flight time my max time so far is around 15 minutes per battery.

Has anyone looked at using one of the new Titan lithium ion batteries to replace the stock Yuneec TH Lipo battery? The Titan 6s 7.0Ah is slightly smaller dimensionally and weights 150 grams less The flight time is said to be roughly 80% longer....or over 30 minutes. Of course we'd have to use...

Interesting....quite pricey for a hobbyist. I can see the benefit for a commercial operator.

Anyone have experience with using longer antenna wire on the drone? If CF tube blocks the signal then how about a free wire taped or tie-wrapped to the exterior of the legs. I wonder if the wire can be lengthened or if they are offered longer by the mfg...? Thanks...

Instead of installing the fixed screw on antenna as shown in the video above....wouldn't it be better to feed the antenna wire down through the hollow legs and into the cross tubes at the end. That way when the landing gear retracts you get the benefit of longer antenna wire without the antenna...

Ok, thank you both for your responses. Based on what I've seen of the videos showing RS capabilities, functionality questions remain that I guess will have to wait for real world tests. Looking forward to reading flight results from whoever the first guinea pig happens to be. I hope it works...

Base on discussion that follows you post Captain, the H can not fly sideways or backwards in RS mode because RS keeps the FOV in the direction of travel. So back to my question of does RS cause the drone to turn to keep the RS FOV in the intended direction if say the operator tries to fly...

Not good in my opinion. Seems like too much of a gamble to me to risk the H investment on autonomous flight programming where the system flies with open holes in the flight environment.

The demo video from Europe clearly shows that the drone move only in the general direction the operator inputs while the Realsense mode is active. The RS programming is controlling the side to side and up/down movements according to his comments. He said it was a very unnatural/detached sense...
