Lanyards stopped being part of most packages since Nov 2016 or thereabouts. I don't know why...seems silly. I didn't have one in mine either. I had to purchase it separately.
When things go wrong, I think it is typically the Compass board that is the problem. The GPS module plugs into the compass board and feeds the signal but it's the compass board that makes the "decisions." At least that is my understanding. Maybe they are one in the same?
If you have RealSense and didn't set your RTH height, in this situation where video and telemetry are lost but control is still there (evidenced by the H just hovering), wouldn't it make sense to flip on obstacle avoidance before hitting RTH?
You have incompatible specs. You list max height on the H as 400ft (restricted by FAA). There is no restriction on the H to prevent it from flying higher. The FAA rules/guidelines of 400ft apply to both the H or the H920 unless you have a waiver if you're using it commercially.
For the H...
I have the case that the OP asked about. It's a great case, albeit a little large. There is support for the camera that is not visible in the video. there is also a separate storage space specifically for the camera if you don't want to keep it attached to the H. It also now comes with a...
I'm very pleased with my "H" Pro. It's a pleasure to fly. If I had to pick a negative, it would be the last couple of firmware updates seem to have set the sharpening on the camera too high. Overall, though, I'm very happy and glad I purchased it.
Just wondering why you feel a replacement wouldn't solve the problems. It seems to be unique to your "H", otherwise everyone would be having the same issues.
You may have mentioned this in an earlier post but did you clear the flight data after your firmware update? If you don't it will keep your previous settings.
