I call my tower and they say "ok cool what are your GPS coordinates?" I tell them what they are where I'll be, then they say "Roger that keep it below xx feet and have fun!" That's an Intl Airport too.

I got the same firmware from Yuneec a couple of weeks ago. Been happily flying since. I don't go above 100' pretty much ever because imo the video is useless unless you are trying to capture the curvature of the Earth :-P

I want to see someone put that thing in a case with the arms up and props on. So much easier to fly my Q with the props always on it.

By the time you do that, you might as well buy a pre-made case I would think. The Kaizen foam isn't really cheap. You'd need probably $150 worth of foam, then the cost of the case, your time, etc. If you take the lid off of the case the H comes in and then just fill around it, you'd hold...

They sell it (kaizen) in 2 1/4" thick sheets that are 24x48. You would need 4 layers to reach the height of the stock foam (9") at least for the Q500. I know we are talking about the H here, but should be similar. I don't use the top piece because I believe it is irrelevant and I don't want...

I got the corrugated foam from foambymail.com and attached it with 3M spray adhesive.

I've tried many different variations. Currently the original foam is in the husky case. It's been painted with plasti dip to avoid pieces coming off. The foam on either side is the really dense stuff you buy as garage floor padding, the kind of foam that fits together like a puzzle piece...

Incidentally I used some foam floor mats I had laying around for the husky case. I'll be redoing it in Kaizen foam shortly.

The Kaizen foam is fantastic. Pick and pluck is meh unless you have square objects. I did both of my camera cases in Kaizen foam. Cost-wise it's very similar.
