  • this all took me while to down load UAV TOOLBOX, BUT I GOT IT AND IT WAS JUST WHAT I WANTED THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND I WILL FOR SURE PAY FOR THIS WHEN ITS TIME. DID NOT GET EMAIL ABOUT REGISTRATION
I just installed uavtoolbox and not being the brightest bulb in the box need some info. How do you get or import a map into a new mission screen, I only see a checker board on the screen. if I look at missions I have flown it actually shows a satellite image where I was flying with the path flown and telem.
    Thanks

The maps should display automatically, though if you are zoomed in too close, you may just see the chequer board.

thank you for getting back to me. Hoping with time there will be some videos to help newbie's like me.
Tuna: Once you start flying a route with UAV Toolbox and something should go wrong are you able to take control of the flight with the ST16 sticks?

The routes are flown with the standard ST-16 Cable Cam tool. You can speed up and slow down during the flight, and exit Cable Cam mode at any point. Control is regained by exiting Cable Cam, not through using the sticks. Users should familiarise themselves with Yuneecs Cable Cam tool and its controls before flying.

I would like to know if you are able to cache maps for CCC from home wifi to use in the field. I don't have a smart phone so not able to connect to internet when out flying. And if able to cache maps are they able to be
able to be adjusted or changed when at location to fly.
    Thank You

The route you plan to fly is stored on the ST-16 permanently, so you don't need a wifi connection to fly it. The map background should remain cached so you can view the route in the Mission Editor when you are in the field. However, caching has a couple of bugs that sometimes means some map tiles aren't properly displayed. I'm working on fixing that.

thank you for getting back to me and please keep posting any updates.
HI I was wondering if flight center would be able to be used like drone deploy where is will show a grid and fly the grid and take photos with overlap of images for mapping or 3d imaging

A few people have asked for that, and I would like to add that feature. It's a complex problem though, so a lot depends on how well the next release goes.
    Hi Tuna,
If I can test something for you, I am willing to do that.
    kind regards, Maik
