5 motor mode

Here is a very interesting video of a Typhoon H that accidentally hit a branch and went into 5 motor mode. Try this with a quad.

Yes, I think I have seen several videos where the H lost a motor and survived. I had a motor lose its magnetic lock---may have clipped a small branch--I got the warning, but it flew back OK in Angle mode (without spinning). Landed, one prop indeed not working, turned it off.

No damage, so I hit the red button again and all six motors started. Has flown a lot since with no problems.

LOL, Ray I think your TH was in PTSD.

Back with my old NAZAM hex, I lost propeller (1) and was able to recover and land from 100 feet. Can't beat a hex for the safety!
 
For reasons of denial, all the DJI folks say losing a motor or prop just doesn't happen. Those of us that have experienced it know better.
