So what do you think Yuneec will come out with this year? New drone in place of the H or new add ons for the H?

Well ... that depends on if it's picky about the output locations. The old GH4 cages won't fit with the GH5. The outputs are in the wrong place. it might be possible to adapt the cages, but I don't know.

Here it is: Announcing the Typhoon #H520 which builds off the proven #TyphoonH platform and incorporates industry-first commercial-grade cameras and applications for high-end commercial use.

Oh, and it's orange:

I do like the orange. Might paint mine orange.

Hi,

PR link and informations about the new Yuneec #H520 exacopter:
Yuneec International Expands Commercial UAV Offerings with All-New H520

"Yuneec will offer three camera options that include the CGO-ET dual thermal RGB camera, CGO-CI seven-element inspection-ready camera and CGO-3+. The CGO-ET is specifically designed for law enforcement, Search & Rescue and solar inspections applications and is the industry's first thermal and residual light combination. Targeting the broadcast, cinema, and vertical inspection markets, the CGO-CI's longer FOV and edge-to-edge distortion-free lens captures sharp, high-contrast imaging, which meets the needs of filmmakers and broadcast producers as it is the industry's first long-focal lens camera. Additional upgrades to the H520 camera options include a panoramic shooting function along with burst, time-lapse and metering modes.....
(...)
The H520 maintains Yuneec's focus on safety with features such as Geo-fencing, Variable Speed Control, Dynamic Return Home and Low-Battery Return Home. The H520 will be available Q2 of 2017 and will be offered in a variety of configurations with prices ranging from $2499 to $4499....

Will the new cameras attach to last years typhoon H? I haven't seen anything about any technical or performance upgrades so is the increase in price solely attributable to the new camera options?

If someone is at CES could you PLEASE find out the answers to my questions above? I'm planning on buying the typhoon but held off until I saw what was being unveiled at CES. If I can just upgrade the camera later then I'll place my Typhoon H order this weekend. Thanks in advance if you're able to find any more info. Also, thanks to those that made the initial announcement. That was awesome of you!!

WOW from everything I've read it's pretty much the H painted orange, but much as I dislike DJI they are putting themselves in the price point of the Inspire 2 and the H can't hold a candle to the features and software of the Inspire2. Unless Yuneec has a card up their sleeve I think their're making a big mistake and should have just further developed the H. I hope I'm wrong

How do you know that? You already know it's crap? You got some lottery numbers or horse names I can have? Talk about a hater.
