Charging Typhoon H with a Graupner Polaron

P1060590.JPG P1060590.JPG I opened the Yuneec charger and soldered the leads onto the existing adaptor within the box.
The photo shows the charge half-way through. Charging at about 90 mAh per minute.
Assuming 20% left in the battery, that's about 40 minutes for a full charge.
The battery at full charge was barely warm.
I could speed things up by using 2C and requiring about 17 amps. The Polaron can give 25 amps,
so that is well within capabilities.
To do a quicker charge, you will need a good charger.
The charger shown in the photo costs £350 €420 $460
The charging time is dependent on the amount of amps available.

If you make this modification to the Yuneec H charger, then you must not connect the modified charger to the Yuneec supplied power adaptor.
