We'll see how long it lasts before the tenticles of the over reaching FAA are back around our necks.. and drones.

Just a temporary stay. Congress will follow up with something. This may have unexpected consequences for commercial operators.

Hope all that studying for the Part 107 exam and the $150. fee were'nt for nothing. Time will tell.

The FAA, more than likely can't do anything. The IRS tried to regulate tax preparers with same exact outcome a few years ago. The IRS just gave up

I'd bet nothing at all happens in congress for the next 3 plus years!

This order does not affect Part 107.

In the US, this could ultimately be replaced with something much more restrictive. Public pressure on congress and the FAA will result in an updated program. In the meantime, local and state agencies may see this as this as an opportunity to make their own regulations which will make it even more complicated for owners to navigate all the regulations.

I could see CA, IL, NY, etc legislating the shiite out of drones just like those same states over regulate most everything else
