I'm in San Diego, Califonia. This is in the countryside called Escondido. One of the precious few places in my city that is not a no fly zone. The water level at this lake was about 50 feet below it's normal level for the past 5 years and our recent rains have filled it back up again. These mountains are usually brown with dead foliage year round.

I know what you mean about no fly zones, I am in Plymouth, Devon, UK. Pretty much every PC loser over here has become a self appointed anti drone police officer. I have had two seperate incidents now of people threatening to call the police.
Beautiful area, coastline is rocky and interesting much the same as here.
