Hope no one has asked this before....
My data displayed on the st10+ seems to be off by some significant numbers. Does anyone know how the distance and altitude get calculated? Is it from the start point of the 500? Or the distance to the st10+?
Also the altitude, again is it from the starting point? Or above sea level?

Also has anyone flown their 500 with GPS disabled? I'm curious to see how if flies and what speeds it achieves!

Anyway thanks in advance for the answers and help

Distance and altitude is from the controller...I have never flown with the GPS disabled

while landing I would suggest very carefully grab the Q from underneath .
Worst advice I've seen lately... for the reason he gave....
as while attempting to land a wind gust may occur and cause the Q to flip and break some props, possibly cause more damage.
Yeah... like right into your arm, fingers or body. Have you seen the pics of the fools that tried this on a calm day ??
If it's to windy for your skills to land...DON'T FLY.
Jmo thanks
