Looking at Skyvector.com, I see there is a DROTAM issued over my house allowing UASs for 110 days! Lucky me! Class B worries begone with ya! I live pretty close to DFW airport, so this takes a little worry off me when I'm popping up to film the sunset or whatever.

Surely that allows Drones piloted by authorised pilots? A DROTAM is notna permission, it is a notification!

Notams?

Oh, I see. That's something SkyVector came up with.

If you dont know what a NOTAM is you should not be flying a UAV anywhere near an airport...or even above ground level.

DROTAM is a NOTAM for drone operators.
More specifically, it's a NOTAM that pertains to UAVs in any way, primarly to alert manned aircraft pilots to the possibility of drones in the air. The particular DROTAM above my house is also under a military training route in which they routinely fly under 1000 AGL and that is the part that we drone pilots need to worry about the most.
