"When I did mine, the Gimbal version on the Yuneec website indicates a Gimbal version1.22, while after my update the ST 16 indicates a Gimbal version 1.21. I did the update twice. Did you have the same result? Did you resolve the issue with the SD card being inserted into the ST 16?"
