When I powered on the H on the table inside (GPS off, props off, obstacle avoidance off) I started the motors. All well, but as soon as I rev up (a tiny bit) the H goes into 5 motor panic. The left front motor quit after jerking a bit.
With power off turning the motors all feel fine and the same. Day before yesterday the bird flew flawlessly.

This may have happend to somebody else too....?

Cheers!

Hi!

I tested "props off", long time ago, after revup TH gave "motor error". I think, Typhoon H detects without props motor failure...

Best regards...

You need to use the GUI to spin the motors without the props on it you can get it from the yuneec website Downloads - Yuneec
Otherwise it normal for it to act as it did.

Yep. That's happened to me a couple of times. It's likely that (to the tiny little TH brain) high RPMs with negligible load equals a motor problem.

Newer firmware lets you idle the motors without the props just like in the GUI, you can't and shouldn't rev them up though.

This is normal behavior on the Typhoon H.

Avoid doing it to prevent unnecessary stress and early wear on motors, though.

Greetings!
