Getting pictures and videos off a cgo3 4Kcamera

I have a Q500 typhoon 4K with the cgo3 4 K camera. I see that there is a micro usb port by the card slot. I was wondering if you can use that to get the pictures and videos off the camera instead off removing the card all of the time? I just don't want to break the gimbal with the camera trying to move with the cable hooked to it.
