    Correct, They are using it as an ADSB IN device for an inexpensive WX/Traffic display on an IPAD. in flight. Great article Stig.

    The ADSB out requirement starts Jan 1 2020.

    No way I'll be doing that. We'll have to fly sometime though. Just ordered the kit from Amazon so I'll be busy Saturday.

    Luckily, FlightRadar24 gave me one of their receivers to host.
    I am high and near an airport that was not covered.
    Get a business account free gratis for hosting it. :)

    DJI has already announced that they are working with an ADS-B manufacturer to integrate it into all of their drones
