ND Filters

The Typhoon Q500 does not come with a ND filter. It does come with 1-blank rim, 1- clear & 1-gray UV lens. UV lens is pretty much useless but does a good job as a lens protector. The bank one is for when you don't want anything on except the lens. The ring stops unwanted light coming into the holes where the ring fits. So they say.
Thanks,Guy's! I know very little about cameras,or their gear! I guess I need to order a set of ND filters?

Here is a DNG pic I took a few days ago using Polar ND4 filter. I set ISO to 400 and shutter speed to 1/60 seconds as recommended my Youtube pilots. Gorgeous result that rivals my 24 megapixel Sony A6000 mirroless camera and Carl Zeiss 50mm lens! Wow. 13912545_10206615427534287_1977984956338033392_n.jpg

Not sure if people know this but it is possible to use the CGO3 lens protector on the CGO2+ camera. This allows you to use the Polar Pro filters. It is not a perfect fit but it does work very well. Making sure the top and two sides are secured is all you need. The bottom tab will slip in but is not too tight. A little piece of duct tape for good measure but not really needed works perfect. It actually secures tighter on the CGO2+ then my CGO3 :)
Use the Polar pro filters on the CGO2+ camera this morning and I'm liking what I see from the results.
Here is the ND 16 on the CGO2+
I think the filter brings out the greens a lot more, you can still see the White Balance change with this CGO2+ as it always did but to me seems a lot better under extreme sunny conditions.
