Huh?

Wonderful weather yesterday

Ran upgrades on ST16, Camera and bird.

No problems.

Calibrated everything, even compass

Did some flying took both video and pics

Can't get them to open on Surface, Vaio or Mac???????

Playback on the ST16 perfectly????

Anyone help on this?

It's possible you can see "playback" from the St from its internally recorded 720 feed for the video. Pop the Sd card into the St and go to gallery and see if there are actually files. The record to the St is from camera start to stop and makes one file where the Sd card may be spitting it up to three times depending on record time overall in flight.

Can you see the files when you put the sd card in the computer? If so, upload one of the picture files here.

Yes, I see the files on the SD card.

Quite a volume of them.

Just don't want to open up on the PC

I am heading to work now, will upload one in the morning.

Thanks

Aha, CraigCam, it seems you were right.

without the bird switched on the files still show on the ST16

Hmmmm

Was this a jpg file straight from the sd card that was in the camera? If so, try a different sd card in the camera and take a couple more pics. No need to fly. Just set it up in the house and snap a few pics.

Or try moving the pic from the card to your computer, then from computer to forum. Drag and Drop or File Upload.

I'd be curious to see if that card worked in a Mac. They need to be Fat32 which it should be but that could also be checked via system diagnosis if it boots. The internal video on the ST will overwrite oldest files when space is needed and you have to shut off and restart ST 16 to see your latest flight in the gallery. If you insert the SD card in the ST and boot up with it in, you should see it appear as Media in the gallery and see your files. If that is not the case then you may not have useable files on that card. They can get the proper header and root but still be unplayable if there are issues with the card speed or formatting.
