I came across a video on the importance of prop balancing and I am wondering how many of you actually balance your props?

I use a balancing rod specific for Yuneec props on a DuBro balancer. (that brand name always makes me smile: "Dude!" "Bro!") Most of the Yuneec props need very, very little work.

Thanks for your response. I just ordered that balancer and rod this afternoon.

I also use a DuBro balancer with the correct threaded shaft (shaft does not come with the DuBro, bought separately). I lightly sand mine to balance, some add tape. Both ways work.

Carolina Dronz has the custom Yuneec balance rod and the DuBro balancer.
After market props seem to need a little more tweaking than the Yuneec props.

Do you know what the size is for the Typhoon Q500? I believe it's the Du-Bro 8mm x 1mm. Thanks
