From the looks of it, the proving ground, for class E anyway, appears to be Minnesota, Iowa, the Dakotas, and Wisconsin.

No DFW or DAL. I have to be patient.

I did notice that some north Texas airports at airmap.io are getting broken down into zones, showing what altitudes the FAA will allow us to fly at. Meacham and Addison both are done this way. I think that's a precursor to us getting the automated approval, so I'm excited about that possibility. Probably be awhile before DFW or Love Field get that capability, unfortunately.

Seeing as how my grind job is at University of Dallas, that is teh suck. I've applied for the waivers and auths to fly here and will fly for the school when they go through. I fly my Spark and my Dobby and my various racing drones here as a hobbyist, but I want to fly the tower with my H and allow the electrician to inspect the light without having to climb up there and out on the pinnacle.
