    Hi guys.
Has anyone tried to take off and land the Typhoon H on the sand?
I fear that the sand kills the engines; or the vortex keeps her away?

    Thanks for any response.

Nasty on motors and inside circuitry . I have used a small folding portable landing pad you can buy online and at rc shops to take off from dirt and sand.

If at the beach I never take off from dry sand, but the flat sand a little while after the tide goes out I've used to take off from. You got to find that right spot on the beach between the dry and the wet but once you've found it I have found you can take off and land without issues.
