Took a little more stick to get off the ground and battery power was burning like it was out of style. Elevation here is 10,600 feet. Going to go to Pikes Peak in a couple a months and see if I can get airborne there. Supposed to be the upper limit of the Mantis Q operations range.

The last time I saw that area was 34 years ago on a day trip out of Denver. Did some cross country skiing there in March of 1980 when I was first stationed at Lowry AFB.

Last time i was on top of Pikes Peak was in1976, I was stationed at Ft. Carson.
What a view once you're on top.
Good luck trying to getting of the ground.

Getting off the ground may not be a problem, but the wind gusts could be. There was a climbing group that used a Breeze to get summit pics in early 2018 on Pike’s Peak. It launched alright but was not able to handle wind gusts and was lost smashing into a rock face.
