It's spring time and the snow has started to melt. Ice is breaking up and we are getting warmer winds. This means that large ice sheets are starting to gather on the shores around Åland.
One place to watch these ice sheets is the northern shores of the "lake" of Lumparn. Lumparn is a formation which is believed to be a meteor crater at the center of the Åland Islands.
