Would it be better to buy from Yuneec website or hobby shop? Wondering if I had any issues with product which be the best way to handle problems.

Carolina Donz, Yuneec directly, or any authorized distributor.

Depending on how today goes, I have a NIB Q5004k (Bird, Controller, 2 batteries, hard case...) that has only been opened to verify all the parts are in it (Crashed my other - still flies, need to do a final long range test). Bought from Carolina Dronz mid February. I am sure Frank will transfer the NEW portion of the warranty to someone.

However - I doubt I will be able to do the flying at the places I want this year due to broken leg/ankle that will not be safe for me to do the required off roading so to speak for 6 more months season is over. $1000 sitting in a box.

I'd support the local guys if possible.

But since I don't have a local hobby shop, I ordered mine from Amazon.

If you go local, open it on site to verify all the contents are there. There have been a few issues with missing items.

They're a blast. Get one!

I got my G from B&H, private party through site for the 4K. No issues with either and seems Yuneec is very responsive to owners.
