It's not a matter of the images being "objectionable" it's just at 16/9 format your images are only 12mega pixels. If you use the full-sensor at 4/3 then you get 16mega pixels images. In today's world, that's considered below average. The H520 90 for example can pull 20mega pixels images even...

It's also been confirmed that a new CGO3+ with a better lens is coming for the standard "H." It's possible they may bump up the bit-rate too or something in addition to a lens, who knows...

Hey, I use the IT-Elites on both my Q500 and Tornado. They work great and will certainly boost your stock range. But just remember, they're directional and have to be pointed at the UAV. Plus, obviously, they don't penetrate trees and obstructions at all. I can get my Tornado out to 3k feet...

Wow... that's a bummer. I've flown four different models of Yuneec UAV's and never experienced anything like that. And have always had super customer support. I'm sorry your experience hasn't been the same. I certainly would have plugged the Q500 into the GUI after the first time it acted weird...
