I guess my problem is,as a hobby flyer, I still think of these little plastic drones as toys, not commercial aircraft.......I use mine as a mobile tripod for my camera, I can hover at 6 feet and walk around it as it follows me, taking pictures and it can hover over rough ground and still stay...

I have had my Q500 4K just beyond 700 feet with no problem with video, of course when flying that far it is at about 200 feet high and clear line of sight....What I am wondering is at about that high, how far will it go before it looses contact with the controller , that point where it ,on it's...

YouTube is a great place ti find how to videos, I have learned most of what I know about my drones from YouTube...I use a 32GB SD card in my camera, after each flying session, I down load it to my computer and start fresh the next time....I have never fill up my 32GB SD card, I have had my Q500...

In other words...you can spend as much as you want to on these drones, the sky is the limit on prices, depending on what you want to do and how much you have to spend...........

I have never had the GPS off on this thing, in fact I don't think I know how to turn off the GPS...I don't want to ever turn it off anyways....that is why I bought this model and payed out the big bucks, it is actually easier to fly than those toy drones.... and takes much better video...

Is the switch set to HOME ? The motors will not start if it is.......

You always turn the camera off first, before shutting down the power, other wise it can't finalize the video, I have done that several times.....

Sounds like my old drones that did not have GPS at all, that I learned on.......really do like the GPS on my Q500 4K...so much more relaxing to fly and take videos with........
