    Battery storage for Mantis

    I usually try to leave mine at 3.81 to 3.91 per cell. I have flew mine to get the battery down to where I want until I am able to do what AZflyer83 has done. I am also looking at what DoomMeister posted above and thinking about giving that a try.

    I haven't really tried to see what the maximum distance I can get. Most of my flying is around my property and within LOS. I use the camera on the Mantis and the Q500 4k to check my fences, wildlife and to see if any new trees are down and such mostly. May be something I try in the near...

    I have been averaging around 25 to 28 mins, but it depends on the temp and wind of course.

    I want to 2nd the "Thank you for your service" ! I admire all that serve. I wanted to serve myself and took the ASVAB and physical in Beckley WV back in 77 but could not pass the physical because of 3 knee surgeries from Football injuries, but I do admire all that have and do serve !

    I sure hope so, be nice to see some of these kids enjoy the demo and start to take an interest in our hobby/profession. Love to see the young ones start getting involved at a younger age and learn the correct and safe way !
