The whole reason for the LAANC altitudes was to keep it out of air traffic. I helped write part 107, Be4UFly, and LAANC and worked a lot on the facility maps (still working on them BTW to get more access). Don’t go above the approved altitude.

Good question. The policy covers any of your UAS’s, don’t care how many if single pilot. If you want Hull insurance it’s 7% of the cost of the UAV.

I spoke with the insurance broker handling the AMA policy. $500,000 policy is $400/year, $1,000,000 is $500/year and $2,000,000 is $900.00 year. I haven't found anything else as competitive. They will be emailing out a policy for me to review this week. I'll post a PDF copy of it when I get it.

I was getting my H Plus ready (flown 10 times so far) in the house. Wanted to format the SD card, and set the camera and video settings. I connect, but it won't switch between camera and video. The record button is white as well. I've done this before and didn't have any issues. Wondering...

Oh Wow, I’m so thrilled with my first flight. I’m bummed I didn’t put the memory stick in (I have it in there now). It’s SOOO easy to fly (I have RC experience with helicopters and 6000 hours as commercial pilot). The H Plus is so quiet, and smooth that I’m still astounded it flew that easily...
