Hi everybody! Relatively new at this so please excuse some of my lo timer questions.
I bought 3 cheap practice drones to fly around until I was somewhat comfortable. This is funny.. Lost drone 1 the third night flying. I don't fly at night anymore. Lost drone 2 after 3 weeks during the day. I always check the firmware now before T/O. Believe it or not, I still own drone number three. I actually flew it until one of the engines burned out. However I finally got comfortable with it and just plain wore it out.
So I signed myself off as being kind of competent, check myself out for night time landings without losing it in the horizon and now I have signed myself off for bigger equipment. I just bought typhoon H+ that have not taken off yet because I still have visions in my first two drones flying away from me wondering what happened. I'm about ready to launch but I'm not quite sure how to load the firmware so I'm working on that now. I'll keep you guys advised as to my first launch and , I hope, a successful flight. Got to give myself a little bit more ground School and make sure to preflight's right cuz this would be an expensive loss unlike my $90 model.
One thing is for sure this certainly is fun. Thanks for letting me be a member
