    Lift off problem

THank you all for your help. I did all of the calibrations when I hooked it to the GUI and opened the Typhoon software. Some of what you guys are saying is a little alien to me, but I will try all of the suggestions h-Elsner made in the previous post over the weekend.

Thank you! I did check the Modes, and it was in Mode 2 when I started. I then switched to 1, 3 and 4 just to see if I could get a throttle response, and it did not work. So I put it back to Mode 2.

Under "settings" -- "date & time" -- it says the "set date" is 1/10/2014. "set time" is 4:46 a.m. "select time zone" is GMT +08:00, China Standard Time. Is that what you needed to extrapolate it?

I did that already. All 4 motors spun-up appropriately. I even felt them carefully with my finger to ensure they were spinning the correct directions.

Mini-SD card is now inserted in my laptop. Looks like there are 10 folders on that SD.

By "no inputs to motors" I mean that I turned it on as if to fly it (with no props). When I toggle LEFT to the UP position, there is no change in speed. There is a little change if I toggle LEFT to the Right/Left, but that's about it. And that is hit-and-miss. When I had props hooked up, I did...

Yes, I have a mini-SD in the battery compartment. How do I remove it?

    Lift off problem

I just ran it thru another test. Virtually no inputs to the prop motors (no blades). I think it's toast. Here is the screenshot with GUI connected.

When ST10 shows "ready" under Mode and GPS, my REAR light is purple (steady), my 2 rear prop lights are red (steady) and 2 front prop lights are white (steady).

    Lift off problem

Friends: I got my GUI and everything tested well. All inputs are fine, I updated the firmware, and all props are turning the correct direction. I did this with both my Q500 and the 4K. COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM: My 4K's (with the problem lifting off) cable which comes out the rear battery...

    Lift off problem

I meant while it was running props sitting on the ground. I don't know how to do what your last sentence suggests. How do I "see in the controller hardware monitor"? Does that require the GUI? Without props running, the ST10+ LEFT stick beeps in each of the 4 positions. The RIGHT stick does...

Sorry ... forgot to answer your question. Yes, the "tilt" up and down worked on the 4K camera with the ST10+. And the video was streaming to the monitor.
