Yuneec Drone Technical Assistance In Trouble

Companies, IMHO, don't annouce lay-offs when they are private rather than publicly traded with fiduciary responsibilities to shareholders. The original article has a statement from Yuneec illustrating their "refocus" goals. Either way, usually not good.

Yuneec Drone Technical Assistance In Trouble

Here's about 25 articles from numerous credible and reliable sources that Yuneec has cut staff by 50-70%. Not good. https://www.google.com/search?q=yuneec+layoff&oq=yuneec+l&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j0j69i57j0j69i60j0.1943j1j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

    Wizard Aircraft Mode LED

I used the Wizard for the first time to fly the Typhoon-H today. It worked awesome. When I had the drone in Smart Mode on the Wizard the manual states that the Wizard Aircraft Mode LED should be solid green. It was blinking green but seemed to work fine?

    Newbie Questions

Good morning, I wanted to verify a few things: (1) To use Real Sense I make sure that it has the latest firmware and is properly calibrated (Barometer, GPS, Altimeter, etc.) then take off using the ST-16 in Angle mode and get it out at least 50 feet high and 50 feet away then switch Obstacle...

    Typhoon H w/Real Sense

Thanks. The Real Sense module has two lights. The left light is solid green and the right light is solid red (looks like an infrared). What do each of the two lights represent preflight? Thanks. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Typhoon H w/Real Sense

When I power on the ST16 and H the Real Sense lights on front light up solid green and solid red. The ST16 GUI has Real Sense installed checked. All firmware is up to date. Do those lights indicate proper installation and operation? Last time I flew in Angle took it up 50ft and out 50ft and had...

Typhoon H Newbie Flying Questions/Service Dog Training

Thanks very much! 1. I flip the ST-16 switch down to enable RealSense when in Angle/Smart mode and the H is at least 60/60 out/up and gear up. Are you referencing a setting in the ST-16 GUI? 2. RTH is found where? I flip the ST-16 switch to Home and it hovers at 60ft, the set mode.

Typhoon H Newbie Flying Questions/Service Dog Training

Happy holidays and Merry X-Mas. I took my Typhoon H with RealSense on its Maiden Voyage today in angle mode and controller mode 2. While it was absolutely awesome, a very easy flight and control and most important did not scare my service dog Luna (she actually loved it), I encountered three...

    ST16 Battery Charging Settings

I have a Hi-Tec AC Plus 4 port charger. What settings should the Yuneec ST16 controller battery be charged at? I read up and thought 8.7amps and 3.7 volts (the two settings variables on the charger) but it only has settings for up to 6amps and 3/6 volts. Thanks in advance. Donald.

    YUNEEC TYPHOON H ST16 BATTERY 8700MAH 1-CELL/1S 3.6V LITON

Thanks Wedbster! That did the trick. Stupid question but I am totally new to drones and suffer from Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and serious rib injuries so I tend to over-analyze. Have you ever flown your drone while its snowing or raining? I was wondering how the Real Sense would react?
