They are the original batteries that I got with the Typhoon H purchased around March 2017. I have only flown them around 10 times. Both batteries do the same thing.

I'm having battery problems. I don't know if it is actually the batteries or communication with the ST-16. I can charge the batteries full, and the ST-16 reads voltage as full (16.6V) When I start up Typhoon, voltage still reads normal on the ground. With-in 5-10 seconds after lift off...

I hear that waypoints will be available for the new Typhoon H. Does anyone know if they will have firmware updates to upgrade the Q500+? Or if there are any 3rd party apps that will do waypoints?

I've had similar problems with the Yuneec battery, but I think the main problem is with their included charger. I purchased a better balanced LiPo charger (HiTec) and after a few discharge/charge cycles using both the balance and power leads, I was able to recover the battery and it works fine...

It's now available from most Yuneec dealers. It's about $30 and works great. If you download the free software, and start it up with the connector, just wait a while and the software will go into demo mode. Very realistic. Good simulator for the Yuneec Q500 series.
