New Firmware - still takes a long time to connect

No surprises here. Yuneec released a firmware update for the Q500 and ST10+ after many complaints about long waits/connectivity time.........the update improved wait time, but absolutely KILLED connection RELIABILITY while in flight.

Official! The Old ST16 Will Work With RealSense!

Having jumped ON the Yuneec Owners wagon a LONG time ago.........the two things I have learned for certain is that their is NO SUCH THING as an "official" release/delivery date, as well as NO "official" word from ANYBODY about ANYTHING from within the company...........EVERYTHING remains fluid...

Official! The Old ST16 Will Work With RealSense!

"OFFICIALLY"? FIRST quarter of 2016 "ACTUALLY"? Could be sometime soon............or even never

H Camera Test (now with video!!!)

"They..Yuneec ACTUALLY claimed "professional aerial imagery"............. as well Yuneec Reps in various videos, and their partnered sellers and "reviewers" making a host of other FALSE and or misleading claims during Yuneec product "pre-sale" stages..... Just like when Yuneec first introduced...

This is Sweet! Intel Realsense & IPS Modules for Typhoon H

AGREED......hence my "dog and pony show" comment. Yuneec AND Intel put on an Impressive show built on BS........and are now in FACT struggling to make it a reality.

This is Sweet! Intel Realsense & IPS Modules for Typhoon H

Andy......All trent is saying there is the drones camera will stay locked on to an object in follow me mode, while the drone moves ONLY in its forward direction. If it encounters an object........IT STOPS from hitting the object. The drone will now have to take the time to "LOOK" right and or...

This is Sweet! Intel Realsense & IPS Modules for Typhoon H

Stay tuned....the $399 price mentioned in the facebook post was for the H and JUST ONE module..........a single forward facing only, 60degree Horizontal FOV sensor with 10 meter or less detection capability at SLOW flying rates......in subdued light rather than the more typical harsh...

This is Sweet! Intel Realsense & IPS Modules for Typhoon H

he SINGLE Real Sense module demonstrated at CES on the H, and seen elsewhere, has a limited field of view that is just 59 degrees (per intel spec sheets). To ACTUALLY get 360 degree 'protection" will require 6 real sense modules on the H as was demonstrated by Intel and Ascending Technologies at...

    Manual White balanced

You CAN pick and set a kelvin temp, but No way to perform a MANUAL white balance using a gray card other than in post processing. There is also no way to judge exposure while in use (No exp Meter or histogram) other than looking at the glare prone controller screen and HOPING all is well.

    Incredible Service.

There has been NO "army of bots" complaining about rubbish products.............just a well publicized charade pointing at small handful of PURPOSELY mispelled words and an obvious attempt at using "broken English" by a few,to cause confusion and as has been witnessed even here, SUSPICION of...

    Incredible Service.

The "DJI bots planting fake bad news" issue was and remains suspicuously more likely a Yuneec driven plot in anticipation of the many complaints that were/are sure to follow delivery to consumers of the product they admittedly RUSHED to deliver when those that had deposits and prepaid became...

we want - RealSense.. RealSense.. RealSense

Intels site says Real Sense modules/sdk kits are backordered until LATE JUNE. Not sure how that translates to them supplying Yuneec with real sense parts and pieces for the H, but MIGHT be a hint as to when the H and real sense MIGHT become available

Problems with the H since release.

I agree with taking off on an as level ground as possible.....the 360 degree gimbal seems to exagerate (or is it more exacerbate) the tilted horizon issue, and in MANY cases as the operator pans the camera around while holding the hex in place, you can see the horizon in the videos as being...

Problems with the H since release.

Thanks for posting the video. Curious.........during your video you seem to hover in place and pan 360 (or so)......was that panning down via spinning the quad around, or just the camera? I ask because it seems that yours, just like many other cgo3+ videos posted so far in which the hex is...
