Compatible Micro SD Cards for the Typhoon H+ C23 Camera

***"SO"*** I've never understood the current fetish with beginning sentences with the word "SO". What does it add to the rest of the sentence?

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

Good for you - quite a resume'. But I don't get the connection here.

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

I do "factual". I don't give a rip about "popular". Life isn't a popularity contest, for me, at least. And I don't do "social media" either, which is also a "popularity contest".

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

That's fine - look it up. But the dirty little secret is that "drones" can be classified any way someone wants to - getting into a real airplane and actually flying the damned thing is vastly different from manipulating some little plastic contrivance via a Wifi controller. There's just no...

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

Wrong again. FAA rules for "aircraft" don't apply to "drones" - they wrote new and specific rules for "drones". How often do you need to have the transponder or altitude encoder inspected on your "drone"? Hmmmm? But, you really do need to learn the difference between "defiantly" and...

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

Yes. This pilot does. One of the 3 instrument approaches I had to demonstrate on my instrument check ride was a VOR-DME approach, followed by an ADF approach. The other was a standard ILS. I aced the checkride, and I'm instrument-rated. So, what does this have to do with "real airplanes"...

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

I was first certificated as a licensed REAL airplane pilot around 1970...but thanks for the advice.

Can the GPS be turned off manually for the H plus?

Exactly right, and that's the reason I don't understand why anyone would WANT it drifting around wherever the wind blows it. Why would that be desirable? **WITH** GPS, no control input means the drone stays put...period. Lots of reasons why that's good - operator has a chance to take a...

Some Remarks About The New H- Plus Prior to First Flight

I looked into mine. I see the twisted wires and associated connector back there. The insertion end of these batteries are beveled on both sides, with one side having a greater amount of bevel. That's the side that approaches those wires, and I don't think there's any conflict. It's...

Some Remarks About The New H- Plus Prior to First Flight

I just received my H+ today. The ST16S communicated via my home wifi with the Yuneec "update" server successfully, best I could tell. A bunch of stuff downloaded to who knows where, but afterwards, selecting "update" returns "No updates necessary", or equivalent, I don't have it up and running...

Yuneec's Typhoon H support is dead

Y'know what? I'm not getting all excercised over it either. First of all, it's conjecture. Second, current firmware is adequate for full functionality, and if replacement parts become unavailable from the OEM, the aftermarket will do so, given sufficient demand. Lastly, eventually, advances...

    Fly away and other issues

And I agree 100%. Your comment is politically incorrect, and people aren't supposed to do that these days, you know. But, IMO, as an amateur Typhoon H owner, the "issues" we see on these forums are from the "cowboy" fliers you refer to. RTFM, don't fly beyond one's skill and experience level...

    Yuneec FPV goggles

Good advice. Just don't even waste time trying it. Nineteen tiny wires or so, many of which are neatly encased as individual pairs, with timing and other issues associated with cable construction, such that any attempt to manually open and manipulate the cable or its connectors will likely end...
