I use a leisure battery and a charge unit for the car so its continuously topped up . So something like 120amp batt would charge all the batts you need for a days worth of flying . No need to carry fuel for a Geny and much cheaper

Had a flight today and the Gps had a drop out and then the compass calibration warning massage came up So just re-calibrated and it settled down as good as gold which was a bit odd as i only did it two days ago . Me thinks i mite just do it every time Now as to the Shielding idea you can get...
