    GUI FOR q500 MAC

Here it is from Yuneec UK, like Chris Koch said. http://download.yuneec.com/Typhoon_Q500/GUI/mac/Q500_GUI_MAC_V1.01.pkg It wasn't that hard to find...

    Yet another battery question

FYI - the DY3 does have a storage mode. Just press and hold one of the storage buttons and the display will show storage and discharge the battery to 50% for storage. I don't charge my batteries until just before I'm going out to fly, and I also don't run them hard or all the way down. I only...

Hi, having some issues with Yuneec Cam app.

I can say that for Android 11, running One UI version 3.1 on a Samsung Galaxy S10, version 1.4.7 of the Breeze Cam app seems to be working. When installing, it did say the app was old and to see the manufacturer for an update, that obviously won't happen. I'm keeping an old Galaxy S6 around...

    Battery Connector Type

BTW - After just over 3 weeks, I received both Breeze Balance Cables from Gifi Power in China. They both seem to work fine and they added heat shrink over the banana plugs for safety (so they don't short together when plugged into a battery and not a charger). Can't wait to finally be able to...

    Battery Connector Type

This is a way late response to the thread question but this thread seemed the most appropriate to post this in. I just found a Breeze charging cable from Gifi Power and just placed an order for 2 of them. Here is what Gifi Power has for the Breeze... yuneec breeze - www.gifipower.com

Playing with after effects yuneec pilots ?

That was pretty cool. I used after effects on some H Pro footage to motion track and add 3D text that followed the shot. After Effects is a pretty cool tool. I'm currently looking at Boris FX.

    FAA Remote ID Requirements?

I would imagine there is a public and private cipher in the data packets being transmitted. Definitely private for when you bind, however there may be a way to have some packets disregard that and essentially be the 'public' part that anyone could receive.

Typhoon H Bolt to secure top and bottom shells spec?

Just a heads up. Screws like those are notorious for stripping out the plastic where they are used. Once removed, you should always clean / dust off the screw threads to get rid of the excess plastic, then when screwing them back in, carefully back them out until you feel a slight click. This...

Batteries, An Education from Fred Marks

Great article. Glad they mentioned the Good brothers. Both grew up in Kalamazoo MI. They essentially invented the digital proportional servos we all take for granted today. Having a love of model aviation there were no radio control actuators at the time so they essentially invented some to...

    Styrofoam case diy backpack

Wow, you guys. Johnnyb57, you just described me. You and I are onlys but not alone and like you, when I have to get from point A to B, I find the easiest and fastest way, avoiding getting off into the weeds, and never loose site of the goal. Any yes, I'm spoiled and continue to spoil myself...

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

I don't think DJI will drive the standard in the United States due to trust issues with the US govt. What ever standard is adopted will be more to align with FAA compliance and will more than likely be developed domestically or in the EU. DJI, Yuneec, and others will follow suit. DJI, Yuneec...

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

My question when they say RID must transmit, does this mean all the time or only when it's polled as in when law enforcement wants it? If it's the latter, then it doesn't need to be polled when in the air. Ideally the FAA would want it all the time but I still don't see that working.

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

Maybe but the rub here is 5G requires a lot more towers that are closer together. Building that infrastructure won't happen over night and it definitely won't happen in time for the FAA deadline. There are people living in my area with no coverage so the only thing the telcoms have been able...

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

There will have to be many small tags that transmit available. Obviously new drones will comply, but this isn't just drones. There is a huge segment of DIY people, by that I mean, drones, gliders, planes, helicopters, paraplanes, model rockets, etc. Not all of what I've described are RTF or...
