I have been building RC airplanes since 1989 and loved it. I think I liked the building from plans and scratch building. Making custom parts on my lathe and milling machine such as scale retracts and struts for 1/5 scale and larger. Took a 12 plus year break when my kids were born and then I tried to get them interested in the hobby but.......
So a few years ago I wanted to get back into it. I still have plenty of kits,plans,wood,hardware,engines,tools. You name it I probably still have it!
During that time I noticed that hardly anyone was building anymore and it was mostly ARF RTF and electric
️!!!!! Yuck!
So I tried helicopters and they were just too expensive after hitting the ground again and again. I tried one of the electric park flyers made out of foam?? Really? I just thought it was cheap garbage. So I tried the cheap hobby shop drone thing and decided I would love to buy something that was a real drone. And I found a reman Typhoon H and I love it!
