Thing is, the H is SUPPOSED to land on it's own

Your logic is flawed which proves my point. The RTH has the same unpredictable hit and miss landings as does the manual landings. You seem to be reluctant on admitting the H has a sensitivity problem when landing and always want to blame the end user, what interest do you have in Yuneec?

Thing is, the H is SUPPOSED to land on it's own

You are correct! There is definitely issues with the way the H lands and its unpredictable and not consistent. The problem was introduced in one of the later firmware upgrades and it seems that Yuneec has moved on and has better things to do than bug fix the H's firmware. What a couple of...

    Something new perhaps?

I always see a lot of talk about DJI on this forum and rightly so, they are the drone to be compared with and the drone to beat. I never see any mention of Yuneec on the DGI forums. With that being said I hope Yuneec steps up its game. Its good for competition and good for holding prices down.

Why NO Typhoon Booth at Hollywood CineGear Expo 2017?

------------------------ Their machines are rock solid in expos because they use downward facing cameras HaHaHa, Ya lets knock them for that! Darn that DJI...

Are CCC maneuvers sent to the H from the controller during flight or stored on the H before flight?

Correct, that is what I was saying in previous messages. Loose the control signal (not the video signal) and the H will stop and hover and initiate RTH after so long without signal. DJI drones operate is exact same way unless you are using 3rd party app's through there SDK which Yuneec has not...

Are CCC maneuvers sent to the H from the controller during flight or stored on the H before flight?

The ST-16 definatly is controlling the mission as Yuneec intended. All you have to do is turn off the controller during a mission and you will see the H stop in its tracks. A very short interruption of less than about 2 seconds you may not notice a stop because of latency. This is how DJI's...

Are CCC maneuvers sent to the H from the controller during flight or stored on the H before flight?

Yes sir! The controller is telling the H to move forward, there is no memory buffer to complete a command. You loose signal and H stops all movement and becomes brain dead.

Are CCC maneuvers sent to the H from the controller during flight or stored on the H before flight?

The H will stop in its tracks when signal is lost and waits for signal to return, it needs constant communication with controller. If it does not reconnect in a determined amount of time RTH is triggered.

Are CCC maneuvers sent to the H from the controller during flight or stored on the H before flight?

The Typhoon H cannot do true autonomous flights. Flight path is sent one by one to drone. If signal is lost drone will wait for next instruction or return to home. Drones from DJI like the Phantoms or Mavic can do true autonomous flight using third party app's. Flight path will be uploaded...

Post your results of the 11-16-2016 firmware here.

My experience exactly with the latest firmware. I tried to calibrate three times and three flights, was lucky to get it down in one piece. Threw it in the closet till I decide what to do with it.

Post your results of the 11-16-2016 firmware here.

Did the update today without any issues. Did all the calibrations and went for a flight. Immediately got compass errors AGAIN that were fixed with the last firmware. With no input on the sticks was getting motor surging and twitching and the H was bouncing all over the place. Was able to get...

    Too cheeky?

Posting Mavic video here probably would not go over big and would incite name calling from the, wait for it, FANBOYS! LOL

    Too cheeky?

Obviously I own both and like both drones for different reasons but did not see anything special in that video that cannot be done by both especially with all the great 3rd party apps that are out there. Users here are constantly comparing there H to the DJI drones, there must be some...
