    Skyview goggles

I think these goggles will work with some people with flatter noses and flatter faces, allowing their eyes to be closer to the lens. When I adjusted the goggle up to relieve the nose problem, I couldn't see the bottom of the screen, where half of my telemetry data is displayed. And if after...

    Skyview goggles

Here's the problem with Skyview. The nose cavity has a sharp edge that touches my nose, and my nose isn't big. This is very painful, so I sent mine back to Amazon. But, Yuneec appears to have gone cheap to save money at some point in time. Below are two different versions. The first one is...

    Typhoon Q500+ for sale

Here's some photos of the setup. I stuck the cloth side of Velcro on the RC, it held on very good to the hook side of the Velcro on the wood base, shown in the photo. To install it on the bike it took 3 nylon tie wraps. It worked good. It mounted on my Specialized StumpJumper mountain bike...

Typhoon H top "fuel" economy - at what speed?

There is a faster way to charge, if you're handy with a 3D printer. I use a 200W charger from HiTec. It's an intelligent charger that will equalize as well as charge most any dumb battery much faster. Each port provides 50 watts of charge capacity, about double what the Yuneec charger...

    Horror typhoon h

I had a Q500+ do the same thing to me because I accidentally took off in SAFE MODE and I was standing too close to the craft. Although this was technically my fault because the switch got bumped somehow, and I failed to see the lights blinking the wrong color on the craft (Sun angle). This is...

Distance testing report - updates page 3 (FPVLR) & page 5 (DBS)

Have you tried a WindSurfer? I agree with you, I don't always go for long distance, under 50% of the time. I simply slip on a WindSurfer parabolic dish onto each antenna when I want to go farther, it doubles my distance on most of my drones. You can buy replacement high gain stick antennas...

Distance testing report - updates page 3 (FPVLR) & page 5 (DBS)

Did you ship it to Aces and they replaced it? Or did you ship it to Yuneec?

    More H delays... In Oz

I think you'll find times when you need to charge all your batteries as fast as possible. It happened to me yesterday. I wasn't planning to fly, my batteries were not charged. At 5pm I notice the incredible clouds in the sky here in California. I thought to myself I have to fly. My Hitec 200W...

    Typhoon H vs Inspire 1?

If you are comparing the Inspire with X3 camera on price alone, Inspire loses. The H appears that it will fill a niche with good value. However for commercial purposes H will lose on the important things such as the H top speed of 22mph (but 40 in follow me) when inspire does over 45mph with...

    Typhoon H Unboxing!

If one of you guys get your Typhoon H with the backpack, let us about the size, if it's small enough for airline carry on (20x14x9"). I haven't seen any dimensions from Yuneec for the H backpacks.

    Replacing the body shell =10hrs

Yes, 1.5mm rings a bell. I think that's the size I bought, however I recommend using an allen wrench in a drill since there is so many.

    Replacing the body shell =10hrs

Sorry, it's been too long. I do recall it being an Allen wrench in a metric size.

    Replacing the body shell =10hrs

Sorry but I sold my Q500+ and I don't remember the size. I went to the dark side, Phantom 4. Oh man, 40+ mph.
